SAM SMITH OWLS

Here's a great shot recently taken by Brian Keaveney of an Eastern Screech Owl roosting during the daytime in a coniferous tree in the park.  Look out for them at this time of the year.  They remain motionless and are hard to spot.
The Snowy Owl and Screech Owl are not our only owl visitors.  Barred, Short-eared, Long-eared and Northern Saw-whet have also been observed hunting or roosting at Sam Smith.
