The poplar that was too healthy to remove has now been removed!

Iconic???? Your're kidding right. Most of these trees in the area have lived the expected life span (<20 years) and have already been removed because they were dead or dying. This tree was definately dead and would have been a safety hazzard if it had remained. Taking it down before it hurt some one was a good idea.
