When you are wrong you should say you are wrong. I have never seen so many people enjoying this park at one time. Bravo to the brave who got this done!!!

If by "brave" you mean fiscally and environmentally irresponsible, then congratulations on a job well done!!!

No by "brave" I mean those who see this as a place for all. Who built something that so obviously so many people enjoy. It should not be a competition, just enjoy the space your own way and let others do the same.
You can not force people to be like minded. You can have an opinion ... it doesn't make you right.

Clearly, the stupidity of a city councillor who borrows over a million dollars to build another ice skating facility in an area of the city already over-supplied with them (the multimillion dollar mastercard centre mortgage is already backed by the city)escapes you. There was already in existence an outdoor skating facility at the bottom of fourth street that could have been refurbished using a fraction of the section 37 money the city already had. These are facts. My opinion, however, is that the current councillor is a megalomaniac idiot who will do anything, including wasting millions of dollars of taxpayer's money to make himself look good. I hope this goes a little way towards clarifying your state of confusion.

Clearly the majority of the Ward 6 residents do not agree with you. Thank goodness for a democracy.

Yes, thank goodness for democracy, where even sycophantic boot-lickers are able to keep their tongues occupied.

I hope everyone enjoys the rate hikes to their utility bills and cuts to other city services we'll have now to pay for wasteful projects like this. What brave people we have down at city hall.
