Spring Bird Hikes for Beginner Birders

 

Our Spring Migration Beginner Bird hike schedule is now set.  We plan to bird the local birding hot spot, Colonel Samuel Smith Park. Kyle and Barb from Wild Birds Unlimited will be leading the hikes. We will be looking for our returning migrants: warblers, grosbeaks, tanagers, flycatchers, thrush and many more. Please bring binoculars and dress appropriately.
Hike Details

1. Please call or email the store and sign up for the hike/hikes date/s you wish to attend. Please provide the number of attendees.
2. Colonel Samuel Smith Park - meet at 7:45 am at the first parking lot. Download park map - Sam Smith Parking Lot Location
3. Hikes will run until 10 am.
4. Hikes may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Please check our website for updates or call the store Saturday during working hours (10 am - 6 pm) for a hike update.
5. These hikes are free.
