UNCOMMON BREWSTER'S WARBLER SIGHTING IN DOGWOODS

A beautiful Brewster's Warbler was seen and photographed in the park yesterday.  This bird is a hybridization of a Golden-winged Warbler and a Blue-winged Warbler.

When you look at the images of the two birds below, you can see colour characteristics of both individual species in the Brewster's.

"Singing a Blue-winged song in and around the dogwood patch. First generation male. Originally found in a treetop. Relocated much later low in the dogwoods."
